Trip to the woods a few days ago proved one’s disco days are never over 😉. All found under logs by my companions. They seem to be flourishing in this wet weather. #fungi #Panshangerpark.

Yesterday I put out some stuff about moths and trapping at Panshanger Park Heritage Day where I survey for them to show the public what we do. Hopefully to encourage a bit of moth appreciation. #TeamMoth. #Panshangerpark.

Maiden’s Blush. A pale winged moth with a red median stripe and a rose coloured patch mid wing like a blushing cheek, hence the name.

Dotted Chestnut. A golden coloured moth with black spotting scattered over the wing making identification easy. Always a pleasing find.
