A lovely single flower that looks as if it has a strong P. besseae influence, labellum rosy red with lighter band at the edge, the other petals/sepals the red with a bit of white at the throat.

Focused on the lip of the slipper orchid hybrid Phragmipedium Summer Fire, a cross between sargentianum and klotzschianum. Lip is vaguely transluscent with darker green spotting around the rim, allowing light to pass through, appears to glow. Background is out of focus, but still some ability to discern a forest of grassy green leaves.
