Writers Vying for the Title of Santa Fe's Youth Poet Laureate Converge as They Find Power in Words The 2026-27 Santa Fe youth poet laureate will be named at a free public reading Sunday, April 19, at Jean Cocteau Cinema.

The new Santa Fe youth #poetlaureate will be announced at an event today at Jean Cocteau Cinema where the seven finalists, as well as #poet Natachee Momaday Gray, will present a free reading of their work. The Santa Fe-based Witter Bynner Foundation for Poetry administers the laureateship program.
