A long-exposure photo of the Milky Way taken at night from Point Pelee National Park. The sky is densely packed with stars, with a hazy, colorful band of the Milky Way stretching horizontally across the center. Several faint satellite trails are visible among the stars. The image has a slightly warm tone and was created by stacking six separate exposures.
My attempt at shooting the #MilkyWay, shot Saturday night at #PointPelee National Park, a dark sky preserve. Itβs a stack of six images blended together to bring out more of the detail.
I thought about editing out the satellites, but in the end decided to leave them in.
