Thick historical fiction tome called The Once and Future Queen by Paula Lafferty
First book of 2026 complete! @paulalafferty.bsky.social, this is a gift! I grew up loving Arthurian legends and to have this page-turner from Guinevere’s perspective is magical. I can’t wait to read the rest. Thank you!!!!

guinevere pendragon from bbc merlin (a black woman with dark brown hair and eyes and soft features), with her hair down and full of flowers (wild pansy for inner strength, apricot for beauty and primrose for kindness). she is wearing arthur's classic white shirt. the background is light blue and white
close up of her face: she has heart shaped blushes and a hidden narcissus in her hair, a flower that, among many things, means death and sorrow (her character in the show goes through a lot of both of these things)
someone told me there’s a girl out there with love in her eyes and flowers in her hair

A digital portrait of Lady Guinevere as the Lady of Dawn. Made using Ibis Paint X via my Kindle. I tried to make her look like the dawn itself with the bright pinks and yellows and lavenders. I used Ogham Staves on her belt.
A small while back, I made a #DigitalArt portrait of #QueenGuinevere as a devotional piece based on one particular dawn that cemented dawn as one of her domains to me. (Hence why she is not a redhead in this piece.) I apologize for the colors—they looked better on the kindle. #Arthuriana #Paganism
