Since Nix can't ever get sick or exhausted, self care for him is about emotional well-being. He'll go to the beach and sit there breathing in the salty air and listening to the waves, and maybe draw or listen to love songs.
Tycho starts with a hot shower, inspects what needs to be done around the cabin, if nothing. Checks if Drilltooth is working, if not, they're doing stuff together. If he is, then he studies new recipes.

Ahhh a complicated question. If I wrote a prequel type novel I could easily write Mikhail and Xia's story, because they're already end game in book 1. Outside of them, no one really strikes me as "needing" a romance book
lol, Elyan is SO BAD at self care he wouldn’t know where to start. He’d probably plan to read in his wagon all day, then feel bad that he was being selfish and anti-social (if others were around) or get stuck inside his head (if alone) and just end up getting high.
