Early Spider Orchid

Lovely day out seeing 100+ spikes of Early Spider Orchid, a first for me. This was followed by my first Dingy Skipper and a lovely female Ring Ouzel. A male Black Redstart was a great end to the day. #SamphireHoe #UKOrchids

This afternoon, I made the yearly trip to Samphire Hoe to photograph the Early Sider-orchids, I found 6 spikes on the railway path, then 50+ spikes at the base of the cliff behind the beach.
