Just had the BEST conversation with @brianlarossa.com via Zoom! We mainly talked about how awesome Bluesky is. 💙 We finally had a chance to meet in person at #scbwiNY24 earlier this month.
Brian is an Executive Art Director for Scholastic, teaches Design Criticism in NY, and is also a writer.

I love my signed copy of PARDALITA, the 2024 Batchelder Honor book translated from Joana Estrela's Portuguese by @lynmillerlachmann.bsky.social. I've been in touch with Lyn for nearly 10 years and finally met her IRL last night near #scbwiny24. 😍 She'll star in the virtual conf translators' social!

Learning SO much in @katemessner.bsky.social’s Novel Revision workshop at #scbwiNY24. A TON of inspiring, practical info. Have already had several “aha” moments for my own MG projects as a result. Just this one wkshop has already made the travel/registration fee worth it. Kate is brilliant.
