Sometimes I feel like there are so many things I want to change about myself. I want piercings and I want my hair to be long. I don't want to be perceived the way that I perceive myself anymore. It's so difficult to free myself from the cage that is self loathing.

It can be difficult to move past trauma. For me, it colors my entire experience. In the past it has trapped me in cycles of self harm. But there is a way out. Life can and will be better.
