A photograph taken inside the Infinity Room at the ‘Yayoi Kusama: 1945 to Now’ exhibition at the Serralves Art Museum last year (2024). It was an amazing experience and this room was breathtaking. Infinity Room bright spots and dots on black balls up against mirror walls repeating over and over and over forever and ever until perspective becomes immaterial and corners are not corners just junctions of points of reflection that never meet and are we standing on the ceiling? are we simply images? breathless the exit opens we stagger out and like children we shout again! again!
