Was real keyed up for this #doubleTapRepEffort #squattingStrictCurls, for which I managed an 85x9 PR followed by an 8 rep grinder to cap it off. Never imagined I'd come to love curls this much honestly. I've even taken to wearing heels for the occasion.

Here's some #doubleTapRepEffort #squattingStrictCurls for the 80x10 PR followed by a 9. Then I've included a look at my #invertedReverseCurls for BW+15x14 AMRAP, which I perform in a double progression for one set after any other curling I perform (pelican as well as the squatting curls).

Then, of course, my darling lift of late, #MaxEffort #squattingStrictCurls for 85, 95, and the 105 PR with backdowns of 80x9, which was a PR, and 8. Been following these up for a while with inverted reverse curls, which are now up to BW+15x12.

Was less than a month back that my #squattingStrictCurls max was 80 and my best for 8 reps was 65, here on these submax sets (double-tap rep-effort?) for my "pull" arm day, I managed 80x2x8. Won't be long now before I'm repping 95 and maybe maxing a plate. May even need an EZ bar before too long.

Then, of course, I did my #MaxEffort #squattingStrictCurls, here for 85, 95, and the 100 PR, then backdowns of 75 for the PR of 10 and then 7 reps to cap it off.

Two sets 68% #squattingStrictCurls to failure-ish here on this added arm day, so managed 65x2x12. Honestly meant to do 75 (79%) but forgot to add the 5s. Still a 4 rep PR on my last best at this weight less than two weeks back.

What a lovely day. Third go on #MaxEffort #squattingStrictCurls (strict #squattingPreacherCurls, maybe #creatureCurls) here for 65, 75, an 85 PR, and then went for broke on that 95 PR, and finished with 75x8 and then 7 for the backdowns.

Then after tucked lever rows and JM press, my second go on #MaxEffort #squattingStrictCurls, or strict #squattingPreacherCurls (warming to the idea of calling them #creatureCurls, as per a recommendation on YT), for 65, 70, a 75 PR, and then managed the 80 PR, and finished with 65x2x8 backdowns.

Then after tucked lever rows and JM press, I decided to experiment with #MaxEffortMethod on #squattingStrictCurls, which are basically #squattingPreacherCurls, but with no body english and pulled from the floor. Did 65, failed 75, then managed 70, and finished with 55x2x10 backdowns.
