I prefer #stockinette to any texture on the heel, then duplicate stitch when needed. Unfortunately, stockinette in this case throws off the gauge, and the heel "balloons" a bit. I changed it to a Strong heel, but I'll still work the pair as "Siamese twins"
The DS stitch is one that's a better visual than written, I think. I'm getting it anyway. I've left out the EOP stitch and just kept it #stockinette for simplicity. I'm curious to see what the fit will ultimately be. (Personally don't care for #heelflaps)
