#MorbidMarch In #TFTNG, one of the oldest living vampires known is a Spanish Alphosine (vampiric wolf shifter, per the world's lore) that is over 1,800 years old. He tends to take the "exhausted mentor" seat, and is quite fond of werewolves. He's a very dangerous character but also very chill, lol!

#MorbidMarch In #TFTNG, the main vampire character Acanthus poisons his Sire in order to get away from him the first time. I went back and forth between strychnine and cyanide for the poison, but ultimately chose cyanide because of the time period and region that they're in.
#QueerPrompts Acanthus has some horrible self-talk but they're catching feelings when this scene happens.

Acanthus grew up in the dark ages, so toys weren't a consideration much. However, they had a spinning top that they liked to play with.
Cypress likes to build and engineer things, so he loved those wooden 3D puzzles.

Synopsis for Lemon Balm by Artemis Quinn and Auden Eris-Everen. It says: Cypress Borne is 22 years old, a dashing young non-binary lad with a fairly easy life in New York City. That is-- fairly easy until their routine is interrupted by a vicious dog attack on the way home from the gym. Their life turns upside down after that one singular event-- blackouts, unexplained fits of rage and lost time plague him. Two years of medical tests, therapy, and a life that's spiraling down the toilet later, they navigate their way through the panic attacks and the hopelessness to an old, derelict, and a seemingly abandoned church in the woods, away from the noise and the people. Little do they know, the church isn't abandoned but rather occupied by a vampire hoping to die and rotting in a coffin. Acanthus Sylene believes that a fine wine should never have an age attached, and neither should a fine being. Embroiled deeply into the politics of the World of Shadows, they have abandoned their duties to The Night Garden, a refugee path that they forged. However, in the process of finding and growing with each other, they may have put their entire lives-- and The Night Garden-- at risk.

For Cypess ( #TFTNG ): Nekane is an antagonist simply because she's prejudiced. No one can give Cypress a straight answer on why he should hate vampires, and he's not in the business of hating people for who they are/what they can't control. It's almost a - (1/4)

It's a dark fantasy & book 2 in the #TFTNG series, following a vampire named Acanthus and a wolf shifter named Cypress. They're in some deep shit.
For Lemon Balm, there was a situation where new characters started showing up that are important for Aloe (book 2), but it made the characters feel confusing and boring to add them in act 3. So, we cut them entirely to introduce towards the beginning of book 2.
