35 yrs ago OTD #PBS premiered the Ken Burns series #TheCivilWar. 11 episodes that enthralled much of the viewing nation. In retrospect it probably treated the Rebellion too kindly.But it showed how the country was torn apart by the conflict & how it affected every aspect of life North & South.😢
