this started as a game for the #thinkypuzzlejam5 but i didnt feel right submitting it
but its an idea ive had for a while. ive always wanted to make a broughlike, and tried with Critter Switcher but sorta failed (still fun though)
so i laser-focused on the design here and im very happy with it :)

I added a few more levels, reorganized them, and added a small ending for completing all the levels.
I have about 7 hours left I'm allowed to work on the game for the game jam.

More #thinkypuzzlejam5 progress at lunchtime today. Settled on Colour Bee (yes, with a U) as a name, and made a title screen. Also did some menu/game flow stuff. Up to six levels now too! 🐝 #gamedev

Added 5 levels, updated the title/level select screen, and added some sound effects.
I think I'm realizing there might not be that much depth to this mechanic. (or maybe I just need to test more)

Updated snake animation, to better communicate movement, and level selection graphics.
The earliest 3 unsolved levels are apples while solved levels are eaten by the snake.

Added some basic animation, level selection, win condition checking, and transition. Will probably still want to go over the animation a bit more to better communicate what's going on.
