Female dragonfly flying vertically, her abdomen just above the water. I presume the pinkish item below her is a stream of egss, as it was not there on a shot taken very shortly afterwards.
Not exactly the best quality images, but really pleased to have captured this four-spotted chaser female ovipositing yesterday evening at #Thursley NNR
