Trying to put bird netting plus a bit of chicken wire over my tomato plants in an attempt to keep the squirrels from eating the tomatoes.
The scent of from marigolds might keep undesirable insects, etc from my tomato plants.
Albeit my stitches are removed from my hand, I'm still wearing a splint. Today I tackled covering my tomato plants with bird netting around the cage. What a challenge and a mess using one hand 🥴. Hopefully this might keep Mr. squirrel away.

Garden bed with freshly planted tomato plants, and covers for night. Closest to camera is a row of lettuce. Furthest are snow pea plants, unfortunately becoming victims of slugs. Drip irrigation lines supply water. The emitters are in-line, 1/2 gallon per hour, 6 inches apart. Not mulched yet.
