A model sheet featuring the logo design I made for Joanna Davidovich’s 50th request livestream, which features a distinguishable version of the livestream series’s logo in a couple of different fonts along with a big number 50 below all that. Above it all, Davidovich’s name written in the Walt Disney font. This logo design comes in full color and monochromatic versions.

A model sheet featuring a “Follow for updates” graphical icon to remind people to follow Joanna Davidovich for any updates on the streams, whether it’s the ones before her 50th stream, during it, or after it. This icon is modeled after the Columbia Pictures logo with Davidovich herself standing on the tiered pedestal with a pencil in her hand rather than an actual burning torch. This graphic comes in standard and inverted versions, depending on how bright or dark the background appears, much like the original Columbia print logo. A full color version exists, but is not present in this model sheet.

#OnThisDay 2 years ago, I begun the idea of doing promotional material for Joanna Davidovich’s (JoTheZette) #totalrequest50. And it all started with these conceptual logo designs I whipped up.

Illuminated by a spotlight is Joanna Davidovich striking a chord on her electric guitar while she’s winking and smiling at us. The tuning knobs emit electricity and form a sparkling frame with “Introducing RequestToons” in it, with my logo design present. Above her is a message saying that the “Total Request Livestream” series is going under a new name. Below the crackling lightning bolts is a tagline that ties with the scenario’s theme, “Rocking your world with drawings galore!” All complete with the usual graphic paraphernalia like in the #totalrequest50 arc, including a Columbia TriStar parody logo featuring me (Plushblue) and Joanna in our respective stances and shades of blue.

As I was watching Joanna Davidovich’s livestream last night, I worked on this poster to test the waters on what it would be like if, like #totalrequest50 during the past year and a half, I’d do some marketing for the new “RequestToons”.

In front of a solid mauve background is a spotlight-illuminated Joanna Davidovich, dressed as JoJo Tickle from Playhouse Disney’s “JoJo’s Circus” (albeit with no red top on her hat, hair is not loosened, and no red clown nose), taking a bow while she’s smiling at us. Surrounding her is text saying things like how the next part of her livestream series is figuratively “gonna be a circus” and that her accomplishing fifty streams is worthy of that bow. There’s the usual “Total Request 50” logo and a “Now playing” banner underneath that, and a reminder for any upcoming reminders of this “next part” of her streams. Next to Davidovich is a full-color Columbia TriStar parody logo (featuring the lady herself in her everyday clothes, as the Torch Lady, of course, and myself (Plushblue) as the Pegasus) and our respective credits next to my box.

Now that all the 50th stream’s drawings are complete, one era of Joanna Davidovich’s livestream series ends, and another one begins. You’ll see/hear more from her about that soon.

And yes, that’s Davidovich herself taking that bow.

While watching #totalrequest50, the amazing Joanna Davidovich was so generous enough to have a segment in the stream dedicated to me and the endeavor of designing illustrative graphics and promotional material for it. I couldn’t be more than happy to thank Joanna for this heartfelt tribute.

Happy #totalrequest50 day, and happy birthday to @danny2005.bsky.social, whom we’ll also be celebrating in Joanna Davidovich’s milestone matinee!

Dressed like the titular character of the 1982 movie “Annie”, Joanna Davidovich smiles at us and shows us a calendar page highlighting her 50th request stream, which is tomorrow. There is also a reference to the song “Tomorrow” in the tagline, so that ties things up together, doesn’t it? On the bottom is a Columbia TriStar parody logo with Joanna and I doing our usual logo parody stances, complete with our credits next to it.

Assuming it’s not a hard-knock life, Joanna Davidovich’s #totalrequest50 will make you say “I think I’m gonna like it here” by the time it starts. The festivities will begin tomorrow wherever Davidovich is on social media. I love you, tomorrow!

Over a purple gradient background is a silhouetted, but slightly illuminated Pepper Ann Pearson from Disney’s “Pepper Ann”, who is seen winking at you. The “Total Request 50” logo is seen on her shirt. Surrounding her are a couple of taglines, the livestream hashtag, Joanna Davidovich’s internet handle, and down at the bottom is that Columbia TriStar logo parody featuring Joanna and myself (Plushblue), along with our credits.

So I felt like sharing another 2000x2000 poster for Joanna Davidovich’s milestone matinee, and I felt like shining a light on a certain character that gets requested a lot.

@matthewprower.bsky.social, when working on this, I thought of you.

With Joanna Davidovich almost ready for her milestone #totalrequest50 (don’t know when), I felt like showcasing all the imagery I whipped up when promoting that 50th stream in the form of a montage video.

My stream graphics may or may not be used in the show itself.

2. My OC Oswald Lyons from my #totalrequest50 ads and his cats watching snow fall
3. The main characters of #wicked
4. A #ragatha joke that I’m not sure has been made yet until like, now. Character from #tadc, by the way.

From left to right is Oswald Lyons, Katelyn Strong, and Tony Hudson. Wearing warm clothes, the three are taking notice of something that’s catching them by surprise.

If you follow me on YouTube and/or Twitter, a year ago today, I introduced 3 OCs that were originally made as one-offs for a trailer I made for a friend’s livestream. The stream: Joanna Davidovich’s #totalrequest50

Here they are now in an upcoming Thanksgiving drawing along with a fourth member.

The tweet I wrote on Twitter about the idea of promoting “Total Request 50”. The idea came to be with a showcasing of some logo concepts for the stream, including one for the stream itself (maybe), and a “follow for updates” icon modeled after the Columbia Pictures logo in the advertising material. Joanna’s response was she was surprised that I was getting ahead of myself.

1 year ago today if you follow me on YouTube and Twitter, I proposed the idea of helping artist/animator Joanna Davidovich promote her 50th “Total Request Livestream” under the #totalrequest50 hashtag, which will then become an interesting reality.
