things i tried when i first got diagnosed with #TypeIIDiabetes: date paste, artificial sweeteners, diet drinks, sugar free cookies/muffins/gatorade/etc
most of that is just not worth the ad copy it's printed with. the date paste is okay but it's not user friendly
i did a bit of panic buying of black sesame powder in anticipation of possible cheeto mussolini tariffs
it's THE major ingredient that has helped take my A1c down from 6.7 to 5.7 and keep it there
i put it in my milk coffee with some peanut butter powder and gelatin

Call from GP: Diabetes out of control; fatty liver is back; more blood tests needed; meds for diabetes until recovered from October's surgery.
Exercise? Until the bleeding stops, that's not happening.
