Thanks to the #hedera I'm very pleased to see that two woodpigeons made their nest in the little Acer tree in front of my house. It's the only one that stayed green in the winter, too! Cats can not climb the hedera. #urbannature #Leiden #stadsnatuur #klimop #houtduif #stadsvogels #boomspiegel

A solitary bee digging a little home in a sandy bank that is actually the path between two common walkways on the edge of a country park.

One of the best things about having the flu is I'm finally catching up on pictures I should have sorted out weeks ago.

Here is a solitary bee who has decided that the middle of the path is an ideal spot for his home.
