Wayne never thought he’d have a grandkid.
He never had a kid of his own up until a freshly-shaved 13-year-old Eddie was on his doorstep. Even then, Eddie never had any interest in girls romantically. Any time Wayne asked about the girls in his club, he brushed it off.

I just want you to know that when J was “young” (omg shut up) we had a slang that went like “Wayne” which meant “who cares”.
So Wayne has somehow always been in my life and I think that’s beautiful.
