This young Robin fledged many weeks ago but has been living deep in the hedgerow, where the parents have been feeding them safely hidden from view.

Always on the look-out for seeds.
I haven't seen a diseased bird here in a long time. Supplemental feeding only in very hard weather.

The Song Thrush usually holds it's own against the Redwings for a favoured bathing spot.
When I approach the pond I can always hear if Redwings are present by the power in the sounds of their wing strokes.
