Medium bodied with medium plus acidity. Crisp and refreshing. Dry on the palate with green apples, light grapefruits, limes, earth, sea salt, bitter herbs and spices. Tangy finish with limes and herbs. This is an interesting Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley. Nicely balanced with nice complexity. Fresh and easy drinking. Earthy nose and a bit fruitier on the palate. Feels more like one from the Loire Valley. Much earthier and than the 2024 vintage that I had last year, which I loved. Feels like it needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Would be nice to revisit it in a couple of years. Good right out of the bottle and a good food wine. 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes were hand picked and fermented in stainless steel vats. 14.1% alcohol by volume. 90 points. $25.

Medium plus in body with medium minus acidity. Dry on the palate with lemons, apples, light limes, spices, herbs and earth. Nice finish with limes and light grapefruits. This 8 year old Riesling from Anderson Valley is drinking beautifully now. Rich and elegant. Complex, interesting and entertaining. Changes in the glass every 15 minutes, which is so entertaining. Good right out of the bottle, and better after 20 minutes of airtime, when the complexity shows up. Wine Enthusiasts 90 points. This Single Vineyard Riesling is still rich with fruits. Nicely balanced and spicy with a nice mouthfeel. Better when not too cold. Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. A field blend of 92% Riesling and 8% Muscat. A small production of less than 2,600 bottles. 13.1% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $50.

Full-bodied with medium minus acidity. Dry on the palate with lemons, overripe citrus fruits, spices, light earth, light oak and white pepper. Tangy finish with lemons and spices. This 10 year old Chardonnay is still drinking very nicely, with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel. Elegant and buttery. Spicy and good by itself as a sipping wine. Grapes were aged in (35% new) French Oak barrels for 12 months. 14.5% alcohol by volume. 91 points. $25 (at release).

This is a very tasty Chardonnay from Yakima Valley in Washington State. Creamy, spicy and entertaining. Nicely balanced with a buttery mouthfeel. Would be nice to revisit it in a couple of years and see how it evolves. This Single Vineyard Chardonnay is good by itself as a sipping wine, and a good for parties or the pool. 100% Chardonnay grapes were aged in stainless steel, concrete egg vats and oak barrels for 10 months on the lees. 13.7% alcohol by volume. 91 points. $35.
