2006 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling "Lazy Sunday", Ehrlichs Sonenuhr, 8.5%. I opened this sweet wine two weeks ago, kept it in the fridge, took a sip now and then, after two weeks it still goes strong, last glas. Went very well with the spicy stuffed peppers.

Stuffed peppers and stuffed tomato after 50 minutes in the oven at 180°C (356°F). The wife prefers tomato stuffed without meat, vegetarian.

Stuffed peppers: carrot, fennel, celery, parsnip, croutons and minced meat (beef and porc) cooked with onion, garlic, tomatoes and harissa. Sauce is made of the puréed pulp of the stuffed tomato seasoned with olive oil, salt and pepper.

Terragena Winery Wiley Vineyard Riesling 2018, Anderson Valley, California Dark gold in color. Strong nose of ripe apples, citrus, spices, honeysuckle, herbs, light earth and honey notes. Medium plus in body with medium minus acidity. Dry on the palate with lemons, apples, light limes, spices, herbs and earth. Nice finish with limes and light grapefruits. This 8 year old Riesling from Anderson Valley is drinking beautifully now. Rich and elegant. Complex, interesting and entertaining. Changes in the glass every 15 minutes, which is so entertaining. Good right out of the bottle, and better after 20 minutes of airtime, when the complexity shows up. Wine Enthusiasts 90 points. This Single Vineyard Riesling is still rich with fruits. Nicely balanced and spicy with a nice mouthfeel. Better when not too cold. Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. A field blend of 92% Riesling and 8% Muscat. A small production of less than 2,600 bottles. 13.1% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $50.
