A deep blue sky with puffy clouds. Ahead is a rustic post and wire fenceline with a gate made of aluminum poles that is chained to a nearby post and locked. Beyond the gate is a pasture overgrown with a tight mass of leafy plants between 2 and 3 feet tall. A single small cedar tree is to our right. The far side of the overgrown pasture borders on a forest. A tangled mass of vegetation similar to the pasture is on our side of the gate. The fenceline is liberally strewn with wildflowers, particularly on our side. Much of the floral display consists of bright yellow daisies with dark centers and taller clusters of tiny purple blossoms.
