The wood block for the background. The body and face of the woman and the glowing part of the lantern have been cleared. The background will still be printed underneath the woman's hair, which is black anyway. The block hasn't been test printed yet, so still has the thin paper template glued to it.

The wood block for the yellow colour. Although the colour will only really be visible on collar and pattern of the kimono, it extends underneath the full kimono for simplicity.

The wood block for the red colour. This is very similar to the yellow block but has the kimono pattern carved away, which will reveal the yellow underneath.

And that's the colour blocks now carved. One each for the background, the red kimono and glow in the lantern, and the yellow kimono collar and pattern and the lantern.
