An incredibly grumpy-looking juvenile bluebird perched on a thin lichen-covered branch that's at a diagonal across the frame. Seriously, this bird is NOT having it. It has a light gray head and a light brown and white spotted breast that gets paler as it gets to the belly. There thin branches at a similar diagonal above and below the branch the bird is on. There's are also very thin twigs blurred in the pale blue background.
The bluebirds will continue until morale improves.
Somehow my recent bluebird photos fit most of the recent #BirdOfTheDay challenges best. Bluebirds are #insectivores and unbeatable at #RestingBeakFace.
