I can't get over how beautiful she is, and the color palette is perfect! Your art is really impressive.

The story satirizes the vagueness, forced rhyme, and bad scansion in the prophecies, but they do end up becoming extremely important.
And on a day the sun shall sleep
Then raise on high the magic beans
Among the standing stones of Skrold
New source of godhood takes the crown
Divinity may go unreaped
Disrupted by usurper’s means
A hero’s life may then be sold
Foregone ascent remains aground
Prophecy #72:
With blood of halves with secrets deep
One shall arise from prophet’s dreams
Among friends as stories told
The seed is sought, the blood is found
To go descend to mountain keep
A plot found while seeking greens
That one will break the earthen hold
An ancient god may be thrown down

Prophecy #71:
Skilled with wit and word and blade,
She holds a sword yet wields a spade.
A service rendered for the gods:
Overcoming shitty odds,
A relic from the past she brings,
And then shall happen awesome things.
Although complaining in a rage,
She ushers in a golden age.
I bet it totally made their day, too.
That's really disappointing. I'm sorry.
Does he mind being alone and lacking friends?
Seff is conflicted about revenge. Drohim cautions her against it (of course) and she doesn't like hurting people, anyway. That said, Kevra has caused her tremendous pain and loss, and Seff does feel her anger and fear pushing her toward retribution.

Kevra isn't the first person Seff kills (tragically), but she's by far the most powerful and vengeful, and she quickly becomes the most undead. Seff knows she has to see this through or she'll never be safe from curses and zombie hordes.

One of the things I want to work into StS more is Drohim's efforts to train Seff in diplomatic communication and refined manners, along with combat and theology. A Blade of the Many is fierce when needed, but dignified whenever possible.

Many, if not most, of the people who make these inflammatory posts specifically *want* you to call them stupid and contradict them. They're the snot-nosed bully looking for a fight, and you're giving it to them. Don't join the pigs in the mud, and don't point out how gross they are. Just leave.
Please remember that when you repost someone's hateful/ignorant/otherwise problematic post and say something like "This person is so stupid," you're still rewarding them with the attention and the bigger platform they seek and encouraging more shitty posts.
If someone's take is shit, ignore it.

The Grekaan were only a mercenary company, but began courting the influential and wealthy to combine military power with economic and political power, and now non-warriors are common among the leaders.
Kevra isn't a fighter, but she's a powerful necromancer and social elite.
Beautiful work!
This story has a Chinese character in an English-speaking country, so I'm looking up articles on the elements of English that are tricky for people who speak Chinese as their first language. It feels like a fine line between linguistic accuracy and accidentally seeming racist, but I'm trying.
If you didn't inherit a bloodless, shambling zombie of a strip older than the last two Presidents from your dad that you assign two apprentices to make before clocking out for the day to golf, are you REALLY a REAL cartoonist? I think not.
Newspaper strips in general, and especially old ones like this, aren't made for people with high standards. They're made for people who want to read something and say, "Ah, that's comfortably familiar and doesn't challenge my intellect or emotions in any way."

Although the Calderan dwarves define themselves by their differences with subterranean dwarves, they still value jewels. The king's palace has several portraits of past rulers made entirely of patterned jewels that are set directly into the walls.

It's very difficult for Gallara to apologize, because she was taught as a kid that being caught at fault gets you badly punished. Even when the anxiety makes her want to puke, though, she makes herself take accountability to her friends.

One of the best things about writing, I think, is how it gives us a safe way to process our feelings about stuff like this, and create a world where these things are taken seriously.
These are brilliant!
I picture of nuclear power plant chimneys against the sunset. The steam being expelled has been painted over with the Paint spray paint tool in the colors of the six stripe rainbow over the chimney in the foreground and the progress addition colors over the chimney in the background. original image by Markus Distelrath from Pixabay
The radioactive warning symbol, but the yellow center has been replaced with the progress pride flag and the three yellow wedges have been pulled closer to center with three more added slightly further from center in the gaps, each colored for a different rainbow stripe.
A crudely drawn atom symbol, but the nucleus has been replaced with the progress pride flag. The vertical oval is red with an orange electron dot, the right tilted oval is yellow with a green electron dot, and the left tilted oval is blue with a purple electron dot.
I should have been doing other things, but my governor pissed me off w/some shit about making June 'nuclear family month' instead of Pride, & an offensive definition to go with. So, I designed 'nuclear pride' images instead.

I honestly can't keep politics out of my stories. Not modern, real-world politics, but social issues and economics and abuse of power always end up in there. It's hard for me to imagine a world where those things aren't a factor in any given story.
An extremely important passage, for Alexander and for anyone who reads it.
I love when the Bad Guys and the Good Guys aren't in perfect agreement about things and have conflict among them. It's much more realistic, and much more interesting.
Damn right, it is. Good for you for making something happen.
