Almost invisible until the dappled sunlight fell on it and illuminated that yellow eye. Taken at Sweetwater Strand, along Loop Road, Big Cypress Preserve, Florida Everglades.

A lacebug - a Hemipteran bug with an intricate pattern of small cells over its surfaced giving the impression of being made from lace.
Acalypta parvula, a 2mm lacebug commonly found in moss. This one seen on the wildlife group's Wednesday jaunt to north-west Shropshire last week.
