I've never seen a stoat so close, despite originally naming our boat after them - this little one wasn't bothered about my presence, much more concerned about a rather large crow!

Aerfen the river spirit cries over the Chester basin today, that cold sap of spring, the glue that brings forth flowers, strung in diamonds across sleeping spiders paths - a sky that sings with tears as the birds do with their feathers.

I was an aid in HE for theoretical maths, a greek tutor placed dolmades on his 'plate' (black holes) - my love of vine leaves has never been so useful - then a russian tutor used borscht for surface dimension... Now I'm (kind of) a travel writer... I think it gave me a thirst for national dishes?
