I’ve been trying to get a photo of my newly finished #seaglasssweater all day.

This one took my almost a year to knit, mostly because o had to spin and dye more yarn as I was knitting. All yarn was naturally dyed from materials I grew or gathered. Much of it was spun my me as well.

I have a new travel bag! I finished the #portsideduffle from @grainlinestudio.bsky.social on the last day of my vacation. Canvas from Overseas Fabrics. I can’t wait to travel with it!

I didn’t have any finishes at the retreat due to poor planning, but I did make a lot of progress on a lot of things so hopefully there are more finishes in my future. I’ve read that lichens are not the most lightfast of dyes. Someone called their lichen dyed garments “vampire clothing” because they can only wear them at night. That and the ecological considerations meant that I pretty much gave up on them.
