Well this is cool. A phage engineered to target non pathogenic E coli to attenuate release of proinflammatory ligands.

So many eosinophils in this case of tubulointerstitial nephritis secondary to recent antibiotic administration. Few tiny granulomas as well. Eos seen in EM as well. #renalpath #pathsky #nephsky

6) Immunohistochemistry: PCT is positive in 77% of FLC, but absent in other primary or secondary liver tumors.
In conclusion

Arteriole with features of a old recanalized thombus in a transplant kidney biopsy. Multiple slit like vascular spaces within the fibrotic lumen. Not a lesion I see often. Pt had clinically diagnosed TMA a few months prior. #renalpath #pathsky #nephsky

Eosinophil rich cellular rejection is often associated with vascular rejection. One of the most eosinophilic txp biopsies I've seen. ACR III (v3 lesion). Undetectable CNI level at admission. #renalpath #nephsky #pathsky
Buena.

Nice bridge. Should open KP up a lot for pedestrians and cyclists.
A pedestrian footbridge in front of the Brisbane skyline at night, suspended from a huge suspension tower and lit up in green
The newly opened Kangaroo Point Bridge (Meanjin) is stunning 😍

Two scribes depicted in an ancient Assyrian low relief, using styluses to write on clay tablets.
A cuneiform tablet with writing on it.
For me, the most incredible artefacts from the ancient world are the letters people wrote on clay tablets and sent to one another over thousands of years in Mesopotamia, going back to more than 5,000 years ago.
They contain recognisable humanity, warmth and humour. Here's a thread of my favourites.
Model for C-Kit–dependent trogocytosis regulates niche retention in blood stem cells. A subset of HSCs (marked by high C-Kit expression) can acquire membrane material from adjacent macrophages through trogocytosis (TROGPos HSC) to augment retention in the bone marrow. Stem cells with low C-Kit expression are mobilized to the peripheral blood.ILLUSTRATION: TATYANA A. HARRIS FROM THE EINSTEIN CREATIVE SERVICES TEAM
