On the use of murine models: Results should be interpreted with caution. Batf3-deficient mice have been traditionally used as a model to study the function of cDC1; however, this transcription factor seems to play other essential roles in other immune populations👇

Our unexpected results indicate that BATF3 affects the peripheral maintenance of different subsets of innate-like gd T cells after they complete their thymic development.

This is the result of a great collab with Miguel Muñoz-Ruiz, Elena Hernández and @salva-iborra.bsky.social and many other amazing people that helped us to make this happen!
