Developing an “ion knife” for improving electron microscopy sample preparation Instruct-ERIC is a pan-European research infrastructure in structural biology, making high-end technologies and methods available to all European researchers.

Last month, we caught up with @svenklumpe.bsky.social about research conducted by his group into “Ion Knives” for use in electron microscopy sample preparation. The work was supported by an Instruct-ERIC pilot scheme grant, and you can read more about it here:
