What a cracking start to the @edinburghnapier.bsky.social MSc Wildlife Biology & Conservation field tour. Today we were at St. Abbs NTS reserve learning about their seabird monitoring, seals & reserve management! Thanks to all the reserve staff for their knowledge and enthusiasm, it was infectious!

The @ukceh.bsky.social Lakes Portal is a great source of information on lakes across the UK. Now you can access the data straight from #rstats using my 'uklakes'📦. Take it for a spin robbriers.github.io/uklakes/

Was at Stow earlier in the week and similar scenes. Most actually pre-spawning rather than kelts. Low water and warm temps this year seems to have contributed to Saprolegnia getting an early grip.
