Today we were at St. Abbs NTS reserve learning about their seabird monitoring, seals & reserve management! Thanks to all the reserve staff for their knowledge and enthusiasm, it was infectious!

We (was with James from Tweed Foundation) looked at lots of dead fish and still full of eggs/milt

Was at Stow earlier in the week and similar scenes. Most actually pre-spawning rather than kelts. Low water and warm temps this year seems to have contributed to Saprolegnia getting an early grip.
