Beautiful cat? Is Ella a somali breed?

Thank you. :) It was a privilege to look after him (despite his spurs, he used to make a purring sound which we thought was sweet at first but was in fact a warning). He was rather fond of the hens..he used to mingle with them.

Me and my bf did a ten mile #walk around #DartmoorNationalPark today. The highlight was seeing a little grebe and two male pied flycatchers. I will upload the birds when there is an appropriate BOTD theme.

This reeves pheasant had been dumped by someone in Dartmoor National Park.(probably because of his aggression). My family looked after him for a few years before he was relocated to a place that specialises in unusual pheasants. He did have an attitude (and drew blood with his spurs).

A close up of a Eurasian treecreeper (Certhia familiaris), a small woodland bird. It is in a side profile climbing upwards on a lichen covered tree trunk. The background to the right is blurred greens and browns from the grass and leaf litter.
It is a Mouse-like brown-and-white bird with a long, down curled bill and long, stiff, pointed tail feathers. Upperparts are mottled and barred brown with pale streaks. Underparts are clean white, and rump is rich brown. It has a ragged pale stripe over the eye, barring on wing, with buff wing-bar.
They are known for their mottled brown plumage which provides excellent camouflage against tree bark.
These birds have a long, slender, downcurved bill used to probe crevices for insects and spiders.
They climb up tree trunks in a spiral motion and fly down to the base of another tree to begin climbing again.
