Had a fantastic time at #ABPP2025, my first ABPP meeting. Saw outstanding talks, shared what I’ve been working on, and was proud to see my undergrad, Abbey Pitts, win best poster award. Keep an eye out for her, she’ll be applying to PhD programs this Fall. Can’t wait for ABPP 2027!
Had a great time at #ABPP2025! Great to see so many former lab members and their students and postdocs. Awesome venue and program. Looking forward to ABPP2027 in Leiden and then Ben Cravatt and I will try to bring it to California!
Did you enjoy the amazing #ABPP2025 meeting? Or were you sad that you could not attend?
If so, we are happy to announce that the next iteration of the meeting will happen in beautiful Leiden in The Netherlands in 2027. Keep an eye on this space, to be the first one to learn more. (1/2)
Had an amazing time at #abpp2025 over the last couple of days. Incredible lineup of speakers showcasing why #ABPP and #proteomics have transformational for #drugdiscovery and #chembiol
Already looking forward for #abpp2027 in @LeidenScience
Great start of the third day of #ABPP2025 with an impressive lecture of Ben Cravatt on the power of stereoprobes for ABPP. Some further highlights so far include Markus Lakemeyer's work on identification of a B.fragidis protease that processes PAR2, and Alexey Nesvizhskii on FragPipe.
Second day of #ABPP2025 was filled with highly interesting presentations. I'll highlight here the talks of Balyn Zaro on different subsets of microphones and the redeployment membrane proteins of targeted cells on the surface of macrophages.
high quality conference stash 👌🧦 #ABPP2025 @li-corenv.bsky.social @selvita
Great keynote of @mbogyo.bsky.social to kick off the second day of #ABPP2025 Impressive progress on probes for image guided surgery and for detection of Staphylococcus aureus.
Wearing my nerdiest t-shirt at the second day of #ABPP2025. Beware, the backside is even worse...
Good start of the second day of #ABPP2025. After a slow 5k run, I set off the fire alarm in my studio room while frying up some bacon and eggs. Those bacon rashers came out crisp, real crisp.
On Sunday, #ABPP2025 kicked off well with an inspiring keynote of Emily Balskus, a great, resourceful talk of Stephan Hacker, impressive results by Chris Parker and thought provoking screening assays by Matt Child.
The flash talk session and the posters were a highlight of #ABPP2025. We heard a lot of exciting research into #covalent #fragment screening, #antibiotic development, #microbiome activities, posttranslational modifications #PTMs and lysine-directed #kinase inhibitors.

Interesting talk by Matt Child at #ABPP2025 (@abpp2025.bsky.social). He talked about his group's exciting work of combining chemical proteomics with functional genomics to more efficiently prioritize compound-target interactions for follow-up studies. www.nature.com/articles/s41...
Amazing talk by @chrisgparker.bsky.social at #ABPP2025. He talked about the power of fully functionalized compounds containing photoreactive groups to identify new tractable ligand binding sites for non-covalent binders. Exciting insights into binding site mapping. www.nature.com/articles/s41...
It was great to present the work of our group at #ABPP2025. I was very happy to talk about our workflows to profile electrophilic probes in the proteome, our probes to study carboxylic acids as well as new work in the @led3hub.bsky.social to profile arginine residues. chemrxiv.org/engage/chemr...
The 14th Activity Based Protein Profiling has now officially started! 🥳 #ABPP2025
#ABPP2025 is off to a great start with an inspiring keynote lecture by Emily Balskus. She talked about her group's research into studying the human microbiome to better understand biology and hopefully develop new therapeutics in the future. www.nature.com/articles/s41...
Ed Tate opens the #ABPP2025 meeting (@abpp2025.bsky.social) at the @crick.ac.uk. It will be an amazing 4 days with world-leading science and many inspiring contacts (although I can sadly only stay for today). (1/3) www.eventcreate.com/e/abpp2025
