I was pleasantly surprised that the "Destination Moon" exhibit finally (for the SI) recognized the vital role non-white non-dudes played in that #coldwar tech flex. (TBH I'm a huge #Apollo nerd)

Drifloon and Drifblim, purple-red-white-and-yellow balloon Pokémon, float happily in the air in the huge hangar that is the National Air & Space Museum’s Udvar-Hazy Center. Behind them is a purple-red-and-white Federal Express jet airplane on display.
In the massive hangar of the National Air & Space Museum’s Udvar-Hazy Center, hang gliders and other small sport aircraft are on display, suspended in the air. Soaring alongside them is Aerodactyl, a grey pterosaur Pokémon, with its wings spread in parallel to the nearest hang glider.
So yeah, yesterday I saw my friend out in Chantilly, Ms. Spacemuseum—or as her friends call her, “Erin.”
