Photograph in black and white looking up at a decorative lantern with curved spikes high on the corner of a tower. It is dark against very pale sky. Castle walls behind have tall thin windows, crenellations and ageing brick. Not the best photo but snapped quickly in the days before I became interested in photography. Taken at Alnwick Castle where the first two Harry Potter films were set (never read or watched and not a fan of the recently rage spitting author). Also the location for some Downton Abbey filming (Downton is wonderful). The castle is amazing great place to visit - lots to do and see! As is the rest of the county.
