I think I'm in a flare. I also wonder if I was off by a centimetre or two when I did my jab on Wednesday.
I'm in enough pain that I can't sleep past 5am and I can't get comfortable overnight.
I'm feeling more than a little miserable.

The inflammation in my body pre-cycle makes my autoimmune inflammation so much worse and I hurt in so many places that I straight up can’t sleep. Heating pad on, pain reliever taken and now I’m just waiting to see if it helps. #AnkylosingSpondylitis #AS

Ankylosing Spondylitis/ Axial Spondyloarthritis is a disease that I’ve had since I was 17, diagnosed at 19. It has defined my life, first hip replacement at 30, left with spinal curvature & scoliosis, fused neck, two hips replaced. But I refuse to give in to it. We carry on 💪🏻 #Ankylosingspondylitis

I need to start physical therapy, or I won’t be able to walk or stand anymore.
Trying to avoid getting a rollator for a few more years.
Going back on LDN (low dose naltrexone) too.

My "complex patient" resume includes:
#hEDS (obvious by age 6, not dx'ed for decades)

#Osteoarthritis (see: untreated hEDS)

...And docs like this will still refuse to treat me for pain.

#Chronicillness Almost forgot to take my #Humira today (I take it weekly for #ankylosingspondylitis ). It’s ironic, since the worst day of my week was when I got a letter from my ins. co. saying they won’t cover it after 1/1! This is a problem since 1 box (2 doses) is more than my monthly income.
