Of all the photos I post, this might be the one that hits me hardest: Otto Frank in the attic of the Secret Annex of the #AnneFrankHouse.

American photographer Arnold Newman took it a few hours before the official opening of the museum #OTD 3rd May 1960.

Am 16. April 1944 schrieb Anne Frank in ihr Tagebuch "Kitty", dass sie an jenem Tag zum ersten Mal in ihrem Leben einen Jungen geküsst hatte. Nicht einmal ein Jahr später starb Anne Frank.
