This revived my faith in the show's direction. We get lots of Tan-ya as she realises now what game she must played. Also we see the Wayan Tribe and how Arthdal has changed them. Plus Eunseom and Ispaeng's moral debate comes to a head .

Ok Ta-gon is now in charge and done it the brutal way. The problem I have is that the show was meant to be about the Wahan Tribe, Tan-ya and Eunseom but now it's about the main power struggle. Eunseom is sitting in a cage somewhere out in the wilds yet again.

The CGI spend went mad this ep with not just a bull in a marketplace fight but a rampaging bear in a forest. Impressive all the same.
The writers seem to be not that interesting in Tan-ya who hasn't done anything since her triumph in ep #1.12.

Karika the Xabara is coming into it a lot and she's got a lot going on. Karika is played by Erika Karata which seems like an in-joke?

S2 of #ArthdalChronicles is (so far) like one of those guilty pleasure AU fics where you think "this would be so much better if X's actions weren't OOC and this author actually didn't resort to the laziest narrative beats ever" but the vibes are sometimes vibing and the idfic writes itself as always
