A little #thicktrunktuesday from #AttinghamParkNT #Shropshire
Gray squirrel chomping on something tasty at Attingham Park National Trust last weekend. Sitting on a frost covered branch. Next to the river. ❄️ To this day, I have never been fortunate enough to see a Red Squirrel. 😭

A beautiful Fieldfare in the Orchard at #AttinghamParkNT at the weekend. Roughly the same size as a Blackbird. Speckled streaky chest feathers. Brown mottled body with a gray head. A striking attractive bird. Attingham always leave the fallen apples for birds and other wildlife. We look forward each year to the arrival of Fieldfares and Redwings to the orchard.
One of a few Fieldfares in the orchard at #AttinghamParkNT at the weekend. A mixture of Fieldfares Redwings and Blackbirds all tucking into the fallen apples.🌱🪶

A very friendly Robin taking food from my hand. The other picture shows how beautiful this Robin borb really is. Lots of Robins and blackbirds around. It was extremely cold there today.
Robin, round and fluffy against the cold. This one was very brave to land on my hand.
A lovely morning spent at #AttinghamParkNT. And a special moment for me, a Robin taking food from my hand. 🪶❄️

The very sumptuous Christmas tree in the dining room of Attingham Park National Trust Mansion. Dressed in the style of a cake. Adorned with silverware fruits candles, vases and much more. The ceiling is dark red with intricate gold white patterns. A lot of hard work has obviously gone into this display.
One of the many beautiful Christmas trees in the Mansion house at Attingham Park National Trust. This one is my favourite. 🎄👌

First bird of the day at Attingham Park National Trust this morning. Green Woodpecker. Really difficult to get a decent picture because it's a bird with places to go. 😁
