On the very top of a snag, a white raptor lifts its mostly black wing to groom its chest with its very triangular beak. The sky behind is pale blue and cloudless.

In the middle of green reeds and water hyacinths, a large pure white bird folds its wings out and then brings the tips in. The egret has a very long neck and a long sharp yellow beak.
