About 5 cormorants settling into a tree, preening and getting comfortable for a good night's sleep.

Sadly missed a few days being busy, but caught the tail end of this #BirdOfTheDay #BranchingOut with a bunch of cormorants getting ready for bedtime. (the asphalt underneath was so white it was gleaming and the bushes looked covered with "snow"--i.e. cormorant 💩)

Hi Patrick. This is a perfect picture. Who knew that hummingbirds had such grand tails. They are the turkeys of tiny birds and I mean that in the best possible way.
