Moorland landscape, road winding towards a small stand of conifers. Slight dusting of snow.
We had a wispy flurry of snow on our #dogwalk today. Starting from #Blanchland, we followed the road up towards Pennypie House and onto Bulbeck Common, then headed over a frozen moor before descending into #Baybridge and through the meadow trail back towards Blanchland again. So glad we went out.

Ludlow style Victorian wall box at the post office in Blanchland, Northumberland. They were made mostly from wood, as this one is, and were introduced in 1885. There's an 1890's photo on the Blanchland website which shows the box on the PO.
