Definitely the first feel of Autumn in the air yesterday. Roads were dead quiet and a tootle out around a very low #DerwentReservoir, #Blanchland and back across #BlanchlandMoor to catch the last of the heather #Cycling #Northumberland #Durham

I sat in a bird hide and got way too distracted by the spider inhabitants. Does this happen to anyone else?

I believe this is a Garden Spider (Araneus diadematus)
