A #beaver gave me a tail slap warning yesterday when my #kayak came to close. This was the Brazos river in Waller County Texas from 290 to 159; it's approximately 200% higher than normal due to dam releases and rain upriver.

The #Brazos river can have steep 20 to 40 foot banks at every access point. I've debated on how to lift/lower #kayak for #kayaking to preserve my back, I enjoy the workout but long term this won't be a viable option. My heaviest yak is 80 lbs.
