Image of a crocheted heart motif on a black leather surface. The heart is in three colors of yarn; pale pink, rose pink, and steel gray. All respect to freeform fiber artists. There's engineering going on there, to a level I can only aspire to. So I'm working myself up to actual freeform crochet with baby steps - trying things out with a project that utilizes some freeform techniques. The pattern, #loveyourselfmandala, is from Louisa Sheward (available for purchase on Ravelry); the three colors used are all size #1 Rainbow 8/4 100% cotton yarn from Hobbii. Turned out bigger than I thought it would, being about 7.5" across at its widest point.
My (late to the party) attempt at the #loveyourselfmandala.
