🎥 El timelapse recoge las 443 imágenes obtenidas.
Una danza nocturna en la que se distinguen satélites y aviones cruzando el cielo, montañeros con linternas, coches por el Parque Nacional y un par de meteoros dejando su rastro brillante.

🎥 Con la misma secuencia de imágenes se ha creado este timelapse, donde la cámara sigue el movimiento de las estrellas con el núcleo del cometa centrado.
A medida que avanza la noche, el cielo se oscurece y el cometa destaca sobre el paisaje.

🔭 En esta versión rotulada se muestra el tamaño aparente de la Luna llena para comparar la escala del cielo.
El cometa, a 170 millones de km, despliega una extensa cola iónica azulada y otra de polvo y gas blanquecina, visibles sobre el Teide (a solo 13 km).

🔭 Over the past few days, I’ve tried several times to capture comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) again.
Last night, I finally managed to do it! The conditions weren’t great and I couldn’t see it with the naked eye, but luckily I could spot it through my binoculars.

I did find comet Lemmon last night in hazy London atmosphere with clouds around.
Not a great photo, but it is still possible to do, even from light polluted cities.

C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) from last night. I was able to stack 52 subs at 60 seconds each. I noticed that the comet’s nucleus can actually be seen by turning down the brightest areas just a touch. Check out the 2nd image for a closer look.

Тому, вдалося впіймати:
C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) - 1 - увечері 2 - ядро крупним планом, 3 - на світанку
і 4 - C/2025 R2 (SWAN).
Обидві були майже на піку яскравості.

#Comet #C2025A6 #Lemmon from #Oxfordshire, UK 21 Oct '25. #Canon1100D 50mm lens, 122x10sec, ISO-800 f/2.2, total exposure 20min 20sec. I observed it visually with 15x70 binos & my observed tail length was about 1 deg 15min, but the ion tail is ~13 degrees on the stacked image!

Hazy, brownish night sky with a few stars, with a couple chimney tops and power lines at the bottom. The comet is a fuzzy greenish blob near the center, with a faint hint of tail pointer toward the upper right. A star just above and slightly right of the comet is somewhat dimmer and significantly sharper.
Not going to even try to shoot a stack in this muck but #Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) is easily visible with a hint of tail through fog in a single 5s frame. Star just above is mag ~6.5
